About NQ Replay
In short
NQ Replay is a free, browser-based market replay and backtesting simulator for CME Nasdaq futures (NQ and MNQ). It replays more than ten years of 1-minute historical data bar-by-bar, draws ICT concepts — Killzones, Fair Value Gaps, order blocks, PDH/PDL liquidity — automatically, and lets you place simulated orders with a full journal and a $50,000 prop-firm-style evaluation challenge.
Why it exists
Most traders study ICT concepts on screenshots and then freeze in live price action. The missing piece is reps: hundreds of sessions replayed bar-by-bar, with the levels marked before the move rather than after it. Desktop platforms make that painful — installs, tick-data downloads, licences. NQ Replay compresses the whole loop into a browser tab focused on one market.
What you can do here
- Replay trainer — step or play any session from the last decade with ICT overlays, drawing tools, indicators and simulated market, limit, stop and multi-target orders.
- Analyze — mark up a historical session and get an AI grade of your analysis against the ICT rubric, including a Predict mode that hides the rest of the day.
- $50K Challenge — grow $50,000 to $53,000 without breaching a $48,000 floor, then share the result card.
- Learn — plain-English guides to every ICT concept, plus a cheat sheet and glossary.
The data
Candles come from Databento's GLBX.MDP3 ohlcv-1m feed for continuous front-month NQ and MNQ futures, covering 01:00–16:00 ET with more than ten years of history. The 5m, 15m, 1h and 4h timeframes are aggregated from those 1-minute candles, so every timeframe agrees with the one below it. Times are displayed in America/New_York.
What NQ Replay is not
It is a simulation and educational tool. It is not a broker, not a prop firm, and not an investment advisory service. No real orders are placed, no funds are held, and no account is funded. Simulated performance is not indicative of future results — read the risk disclosure.
