Simulated vs. Real Trading

NQ Backtest is a simulator. Simulated trading does not involve financial risk, but it also cannot fully replicate the psychological pressure, slippage, liquidity, latency, or fees of live markets. Profitable backtesting results do not guarantee profitable live trading.

Leverage

Futures contracts (such as MNQ/NQ) are highly leveraged. A small adverse price move can produce losses exceeding your initial margin.

Hypothetical Performance Disclaimer (CFTC 4.41 style)

Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight.
